About this event
Course Title: Advanced Training 5 Series
Course Date: 10/07-10/24/2024
Course Instructor: Ritchie Mintz
45+ years in practice, in good standing with DIRI, teaching for AGSI and has written and published several SI books.
About Ritchie Mintz: Ritchie was trained at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® (DIRI) in 1978, and did his Advanced Training in 1981. He has served twice on the DIRI board of directors. He has spent four decades practicing Structural Integration and thousands of hours contemplating Dr. Rolf’s magnificent 10-series of sessions, affectionately called Grandma’s Recipe. The gift of all this experience is a profound insight into how our recipe is designed and how it works. Ritchie brings that gift to his teaching of structural integration.
Ritchie is a natural teacher. He specializes in mentoring beginning practitioners because he remembers the struggles of his own rookie years. His greatest joy is watching “the bulb” light up for the many practitioners who say, “Oh, so THAT’S what that means!” Ritchie Mintz is the author of two books on structural integration. If you want to get a feel for his teaching style, you are invited to read these books and visit his website. www.RitchieMintz.com
Course Start and end times:
10/07-10/24/24 Mon-Thurs, 9am-6pm
In Person location

Course Description:
At AGSI the Advanced Training teaches the 5 Session Series as it was developed by Dr. Rolf, Peter Melchior and Emmet Hutchins. We do this in a three week format with our senior level instructors who guide the class through the highly interpretive sessions involving specific body positions.
These classic positions (the Z, C, and L) are creatively utilized to stress the structure to a certain degree exposing where more alignment can be refined after having completed the Basic 10 Series.
Practitioners will get to immerse themselves back into the classroom environment where they will discuss the principals and goals of the Advanced Series, trade sessions with a practitioner partner and work on models from the community.
Being in the classroom with experienced practitioners and being supervised by world class instructors makes this class very impactful and empowering.
Students in the advanced training will need to have three years of full time practice experience and will have an interview before being accepted.
Our advanced training is open to graduates of all IASI approved Structural Integration programs.
