About this event
Course Title: A Creative Exploration of the Classic Post-Ten 3 Series
Course Date: August 1-3, 2025
Course Instructors: Daniel Bienenfeld and Ron Kelley
Dan Bienenfeld: Daniel Bienenfeld is a seasoned Healing Arts Practitioner with a career spanning decades. He began his studies and practice of Structural Integration in 1978, under the mentorship of Joseph Heller, a student of Dr. Ida P. Rolf. Over the years, Daniel has worked with thousands of individuals in the healing arts, learning with pioneers such as Peter and Emmett, Dorothy Nolte, and Judith Aston. His dedication to advancing the field led him to co-found one of the earliest and most comprehensive healing arts centers in the United States, The Los Angeles Healing Arts Center. As an educator, Daniel started teaching Hellerwork Structural Integration in 1986 and has since conducted training sessions worldwide. His studies have expanded to include allied modalities such as cranial therapy, guided imagery, Somatic Experiencing, and trauma-based therapies. Today, Daniel continues to teach and practice Structural Integration and Embodied Arts, guiding individuals and groups to experience greater ease and grace in their physical being. In addition to his practice, Daniel is the author of "Align for Life," "Journey to Structural Integration," and the "Body Mastery System," a series of ten eBooks. He has appeared on numerous radio shows and podcasts, discussing topics like Structural Integration and healing chronic pain. Looking ahead, Daniel is set to launch "Embody365" in January 2025, a daily embodiment practice program for an entire year. Passionate about sharing his knowledge, Daniel remains dedicated to the art of Structural Integration, continuously learning and contributing to the field.
Ron Kelley: Ron completed his training as a practitioner at the Guild for Structural Integration with Peter Melchior and David Davis in 2001. He started his career in Wyoming having offices in both Lander and Casper. In 2006 he moved to Boise, Idaho where he has been practicing ever since. As a practitioner Ron sticks very close to the roots of the Basic 10 series, addressing the body around a central vertical axis and balancing the body in gravity. As Co-Director of AGSI Ron brings over 24 years of Structual Integration experience to the program. Before his career as a Structural Integration practitioner Ron spent a decade teaching leadership, teamwork and team building with various outdoor education programs, mainly the National Outdoor Leadership School. His experience as an educator has turned out to be invaluable in his current position.
Course Start and end times: 9am - 6pm
In Person location: SpringHill Suites 1470 Dry Creek, Longmont, CO 80503
Course Description:
What do we do when our Structural Integration clients come back for more work following their 10 Series?
How do we make a Post-Ten Series unique for each client?
While there is a basic framework for these "tune-up" sessions, it is an opportunity for creativity and exploration. Please join us for a workshop devoted to the Post-Ten 3-Series, with an emphasis on Informed Touch, the Line, structural assessment and session strategies. Each day Dan and Ron will demonstrate a session with an outside model, after which the class participants will exchange work with one another. There will be ample time for processing, discussion, experimentation and integration.
The topics covered in this class are:
* Fascial relationships
* Strategies for post-10 Structural Integration
